Culinary Delicatessen Festival

Ribeira Market opens its doors to the best regional products and specialities when it hosts the Gastronomic Festival on the weekend of September 4 & 5.

This is an opportunity for visitors and gourmet fans to sample and buy some quality food product offered by around 45 Portuguese delicatessens.

Highlights include the typical Portuguese dishes such as “Chanfana”, “Sopa da Pedra” (soup broth) or “Vitela de Lafões” (veal), among other regional specialities such as cheeses, sausages, sweets and jams.

You can also enjoy savoury snacks and full menus of regional dishes.

Organized by Lisboa City Council together with the Portuguese Delicatessen Federation, and Turismo de Lisboa, its calendar also features folk bands and song groups, as well as other surprises.

September 4 &5, 10am-11pm, September 5 until 5pm, Ribeira Market, Avenida 24 de Julho (metro station: Cais do Sodré).
Free entry.
