The catamaran, at 47 metres in length and builtover the course of three years by the Perini Navi shipyard, has already travelled through several Mediterranean cities, such as Rabat, Tangier, Marseille, Venice, and Málaga.

On board, it offers an immersive curatorship featuring artworks and artistic residencies in dialogue with heritage and contemporary creation.

On the quayside and throughout the town of Cascais, workshops, talks, performances,concerts, and film screenings take place, exploring hospitality, cultural mobility, and Mediterranean relations as sharedartistic experiences.

The catamaran-museum is part of the Portuguese edition of the Art Explora Festival, which focuses on themes of hospitality and artistic circulation as drivers of exchange, cross-fertilisation, and cultural renewal.
