Für Comic-Freunde findet in Amadora dieses internationale Festival statt, bei dem sich Leute, die in diesem Bereich arbeiten und Autoren unterschiedlicher Nationalitäten mit dem Publikum treffen.

Neben einer Ausstellung werden auch Aktivitäten angeboten, die mit der “9. Kunst“ in Verbindung stehen, wie Debatten und Filmvorführungen.

Promoting the best of the world’s comics and bringing together the most distinguished authors and representatives of this literary genre in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area is the purpose of Amadora BD Festival.

A leading international event, now celebrating its 36th edition, it honours the careers of leading creators such as Paco Roca, Luis Louro and Fábio Moon & Gabriel Bá.

In the spirit of celebration, special focus will also be given to 150 years of Zé Povinho, 85 years of Spirit, 75 years of the Peanuts series and 65 years of the Justice League, alongside exhibitions where women take centre stage, including Radium Girls by Cy and O Corpo de Cristo by Bea Lema.
