MOTELX - Festival Internacional de Cine de Terror de Lisboa promueve el mejor del terror producido a nivel internacional y tanbién estimula la producción de películas de terror portuguesas.

Se ha conquistado una posición importante en el circuito internacional de festivales de cine de género, convirtiéndose en uno de los eventos culturales más esperados del año en Lisboa.

MOTELX – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival celebrates its 20th edition, from 3 to 13 September 2026, at Cinema São Jorge and Cinemateca Portuguesa.

It will be the biggest edition ever, with 11 days of festival, over 170 films from more than 40 countries and more than 145 screenings.

The Festival opens with "Drag", starring Lizzy Caplan, and closes with "Fall 2: Deadpoint".

This edition also marks Roger Corman's centenary, with producer Julie Corman in attendance, and the Mestre de Terror award given to Sergio Martino, alongside the Noémia Delgado Award for Notable Women in Horror, presented to Solveig Nordlund.
