Lisboa Museums after hours opening

Lisboa’s museums will once again open after hours for another “Thursday Nights at Museums” event, designed to promote the “night scene” of some of the city’s most charming museums.

During 14 Thursdays, until September 23, the National Art Museum, Ethnology Museum, Archaeology Museum and Music Museum all located in Lisboa will extend their opening hours until midnight, to allow different audiences to discover their settings and collections from a different perspective whilst enjoying a cultural program specially organised for this event.

This is a parallel event of the Oceans Festival, organised by Turismo de Lisboa, and running until August 14, at various locations along the Riverside Area. Featuring a free entry program, aimed at audiences of all ages, the Oceans Festival is an eclectic event that brings together various artistic genres that will add life and colour to the capital during the summer.
