Lisbon – Which part of the city would you like to show to a friend?
On August 1, Turismo de Lisboa will launch a photography competition dedicated to the topic, “Lisbon – Which part of the city would you like to show to a friend”, in a challenge to discover original ways of seeing and experiencing the city.
One of the pre-requisites for this competition, open to all, is to look beyond the obvious attractions of Lisbon’s principal monuments and emblematic sites, and discover less well-known facets and aspects of the city.
Through launch of this Competition, Turismo de Lisboa is associated to the “European Heritage Days”, co-organised by IGESPAR – the Portuguese Institute of Archaeological and Architectural Heritage.
“European Heritage Days” is an annual joint initiative of the Council of Europe and European Union, covering 50 countries, aimed at raising the awareness of European citizens for the importance of safeguarding Heritage assets.
