    Pátio da Galé

    Opened on 25th February, Pátio da Galé is Lisbon’s new leisure venue in Terreiro do Paço.
    It is the perfect place to spend some free time and also during visits to downtown Lisbon.

    It has two restaurants and an ice-cream parlour with outdoor patios, a shop, a tourist office, exhibition and event rooms and the Modalisboa head office.

    The Portuguese capital has a new venue for enjoying the city, Pátio da Galé, in Terreiro do Paço, featuring areas dedicated to food & beverage, leisure, culture and events.

    Situated in the west wing of Lisboa's most emblematic square, Pátio da Galé helps to promote the charm of the Portuguese capital as a tourist destination, presenting itself as an ideal place to experience the city.

    Under the beautiful and historic Pombaline arcades of Patio da Gale, you can find two restaurants - the Aura and the Terreiro do Paço - terraces, icecream parlour, exhibition and events area, Lisboa Shop - a store to promote and sell Lisboa design- a tourism office and the headquarters of Turismo de Lisboa, Canal Lisboa and ModaLisboa.
    Following its renovation by architect James Silva Dias, Pátio da Galé is today a privileged setting that combines a historical background with a fashionable atmosphere and has hosted some major events in the Portuguese capital's calendar. Soon after its inauguration, Pátio da Galé hosted ModaLisboa in March and the gastronomic Fish & Flavours event in April. In August it also hosted some activities from the Oceans Festival.

    The rehabilitation of Pátio da Galé is part of the objectives defined in the Strategic Plan 2011-2014 by Turismo de Lisboa (TLX14) with the aim of revitalising Terreiro do Paço as a symbol of the capital
