Stories with Music | Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa

Metropolitana presents this season a series of concerts in which the lyrics join the notes, these words will be said by the musicians of the orchestra.

One thing is to read a story, another thing is listen to it.
And who doesn't like to hear a story well told?
That is why, legends and narratives, there have always been and will be.
They serve to transmit knowledge, preserve customs, break the imagination and add worlds to our existence.
They are also a way of dreaming.

These experiences inspired Metropolitana to present this season a series of concerts in which the lyrics join quarter notes and eighth notes.
They will not be said by troubadours, chroniclers, playwrights, or even by our grandparents... it will be the musicians of our orchestra who take the floor.
