Inquieta Ansiedade

Works from the Rui Victorino collection | Among others, it includes works by authors like Paula Rego, Eduardo Nery or Noronha da Costa, as well as works by international artists, such as Vasarely, Albers or Sónia Delaunay.

In “Inquieta Ansiedade” we can find 60 works of modern and contemporary art, from the private collection of doctor and investigator Rui Victorino.

With predominantly national artists, this exhibition intends to show some of the protagonists of modernism in Portugal.

The exhibition tries to consider the concerns of the artists, who were able to capture and interpret the actuality of the aesthetic movements of the time.

Works by authors like Paula Rego, Helena Almeida, Eduardo Nery, Noronha da Costa, Jorge Martins can be found in this exhibition, as well as works by international artists, such as Vasarely, Albers or Sónia Delaunay.

 

Until 8th May, from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, Fundação Arpad Szenes - Vieira da Silva, Praça das Amoreiras (buses: 706, 709, 713, 758, 720, 727, 738, 774, 723 | metro: Rato).
