This exhibition examines contemporary architectural practices and artists reflecting upon the art of designing cycles, addressing their enquiries into the past and present of construction, its relation to the geopolitics of extractivism, and futures for the building industry. Moving away from linear systems towards circular models within contemporary architecture, Cycles showcases architecture’s compromise and complicity within the endless processes of matter’s transformation and redistribution.
