“Diáfano” is the title of Juliana Matsumura's new solo exhibition at the Atelier Concorde exhibition space. In this exhibition, the artist presents the most recent series of her work in which drawing, the protagonist of her work, conjures up color and light.
By this evocation of the cause of the visible, the works that Juliana brings us propose the awakening of a sensitive echo in our body, warmer and more alive, approaching the indirect allusion to the tradition of painting.
Through the repeated gesture, the artist uses the colored pencil to weave layers that reveal themselves and illuminate the sheet; expanding and moving forms float in a vibrating atmosphere.
