EDP Marathon de Lisbonne'19

[ 20-10-19 ] 42 kms distance Marathon sets off from Cascais and follows the Coastal Road (Estrada Marginal) until the finish line at Lisbon's Parque das Nações.

The 42 kms distance Marathon sets off from Cascais and follows the Coastal Road (Estrada Marginal), firstly by the sea and then along the river until the finish line at Lisbon, Praça do Comércio.

The event also includes two shorter distance races which are within the reach of all those taking part.

The Half Marathon sets off from the Vasco da Gama Bridge and charts a 21kms course that also finishes up at Praça do Comércio. It provides the opportunity to cross on foot one of the longest bridges in Europe.

At the same time there is the Mini Marathon which is about 8kms, very popular with the locals in general, whether running or walking, since the main objective is taking part and meeting people.

 


 

Lisbon Marathon
The EDP Lisbon Marathon is already considered as one of the most beautiful races in the world and acclaimed by international media such as the Forbes Magazine, the Huffington Post and American Express.

Starting in Cascais and finishing at Praça do Comércio, the EDP Marathon course is 100% sea and river side, providing to the runners an unique view along the race.

Half Marathon
The Luso Half Marathon is one of the most popular races in Portugal.

Starting at the Vasco da Gama Bridge, it ends at Praça de Comércio together with the Lisbon Marathon.

The 21km course, takes the Luso Half Marathon runners from the north area of the city to downtown Lisbon, crossing emblematic historical monuments and river side views.

Mini Marathon
The EDP Mini Marathon is one of the most popular races in Portugal, its departure is at the famous Vasco da Gama bridge and the finish line is at the Parque das Nações.

The departure is at the same time and location as the Luso Half Marathon and allows its participants to have a beautiful view along the course.
