The whole world will fit into Lisboa for this 16th edition of DocLisboa: the film festival that has become a cultural standard for the city. The programme includes the normal competitive sections, which will show the best recent documentaries as well as Heart Beat, Da Terra à Lua, Riscos e Verdes Anos, which put the spotlight on young Portuguese directors. It will also include a retrospective of Luis Ospina, one of the most important names in Colombian cinema. Under the slogan “Navegar o Eufrates, Viajar no Tempo do Mundo”, this festival will examine the complexity of this area, which has been devastated by a number of clashes, in films produced before the contemporary wars.
From 18th to 28th October at various locations: Culturgest, Cinema de São Jorge, Cinema Ideal and Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema. Tickets: from 4.5 euros, with several discounts.
