Miradouro do Parque Eduardo VII 3
The Parque Eduardo VII has the most magnificent viewing point in Lisbon. With a stunning vista of the park, imposing statue of the Marquis of Pombal and the Avenida da Liberdade, you can see the Tagus, the south bank of the river and, on a good day, the hills of Arrábida. This is also where you’ll find the 25th April Memorial created by the sculptor João Cutileiro, and an impressive Portuguese flag. Because of its view and location, the miradouro is different. You can see all the surrounding hills and realise the extent of Lisbon outside the historic quarters. Designed by the architect Keil do Amaral in 1945, it’s a nice place to stroll and admire the two cobbled pavements in calçada portuguesa where the Lisbon Book Fair is held every year. It’ll make you feel a little bit Portuguese.
