Ballet in two acts, with choreography by Elena Radchenko and interpretation of Russian National Ballet, company founded in 1989 by Sergei Radchenko, one of the most important soloists of the Bolshoi Theater of Moscow. It is part of the traditional children's tales, and it's the story of a girl transformed into a maid by her stepmother and her evil daughters. Her goodness and beauty are rewarded, making her a princess, happy forever. With music by Sergei Prokofiev, the ballet Cinderella debuted in 1945 at the Bolshoi Theater, with choreography by Rostilav Zakharov and Galina Ulanova as the protagonist. Unlike the traditional story of Charles Perrault, in the ballet the sisters of Cinderella are not bad but very clumsy, becoming comic and irresistible characters.
