Ranging from the 17th century coach of King Philip II to 19th century carriages, and including the famous coaches used in the Embassy sent by King João V to Pope Clement XI, this collection is the best in its type in the World. In addition to its historical interest, it also shows the development of the art of sculpture and gilt work painting and other applied arts.
