No. 25 Tram

A journey back in time to another Lisbon, through calm bairros and shopping streets, lets you discover a city where everything moves at a slower pace.

This is a different way to explore the other traditional neighbourhoods of Lisbon.

The no. 25 tram travels the route between Prazeres and Campo das Cebolas, crossing the elegant bairro of Campo de Ourique, passing through Estrela, with its basilica and park, descending (or climbing) down to Lapa and running parallel to the river from Santos to São Paulo, Cais do Sodré and Praça do Comércio until coming to rest in Campo das Cebolas in front of the Casa dos Bicos.

Less popular with tourists than the no. 28, it is an original way of travelling in Lisbon and reaching some of the city’s biggest attractions.

It is also very popular with locals who are not in a hurry.

With its wooden carriages from the early 20th century, the no. 25 takes you on a journey back in time that’s worth experiencing.
