To democratize and popularize the opera, the Grande Orquestra Sinfónica and its Choir will give a concert, which is a tribute to this musical style.
On stage will be some of the best fragments of the grand operas by Verdi.
The programme will focus on works which immortalized historical moments, from Aida’s Triumphal March, when the victorious troops return from battle, to Il Trovatore’s happy gipsy choir or Va Pensiero, from Nabucco, converted into the symbol of an Italy unified under the Habsburgs.
The concert will also include fragments and parts of other big opera titles, such as Don Giovanni and La Traviata.
