A series of ballpoint pen drawings, situated at the narrative crossroads between chaos and harmony, forms the latest exhibition by Teresa Melo, one of the leading figures in contemporary art in Portugal.

The painter and visual artist from Porto, now based in Setúbal, expresses in these works the distinctiveness of her meditative and performative approach, with lines that emerge from the subconscious into erratic forms, in pursuit of a balance of contrasts.
