Full presentation of the series of Brandeburgish Concerts (BWV 1046-1051) by Johann Sebastian Bach, an essential milestone in the history of Western music. Composed between 1718 and 1721.

Concerto nº 4 in Sol Maior is considered one of the most modern in terms of its conception, as it points to a model that will only be fully in vogue in the gallant period that followed the Baroque. The violin assumes here strikingly virtuous features.

In Concert no. 5 in D Maior the harpsichord faces passages of impressive difficulty in the first movement. It is thought that the work may have been written in 1719 to present a new instrument brought from Berlin to Köthen's court by Bach himself. Others suggest that it was written for a competition in Dresden between the French composer and organist Louis Marchand, as in the central tempo Bach uses a theme from the latter. Some scholars consider this work as the first great example of a concert with a soloist of keys.

Concerto nº 6 in B flat major, the last of the series, was written for an unusual combination of stringed instruments: it does not use violins and solo instruments (two violas from braccio and a cello), as well as accompanying instruments (two violas da gamba and one harpsichord), are uncommon in the composer's production. Work that closes in a golden key this impressive ensemble in which the great dominance of polyphony on the part of the great Kantor is evident.
