The festival, which tours the country’s squares with family-friendly activities, crafts and much more, is back in Lisbon.

Between 11am and 10pm, the iconic Praça do Comércio will host musicians of different generations and musical styles, kicking off with a DJ set by Kiko Is Hot, a leading figure in Portuguese digital culture, followed by a performance by NAPA, who took the song ‘Deslocado’ to Eurovision, and a ‘Viva o Samba’ dance circle at the bandstand.

The closing act will be performed by the acclaimed fado singer Mariza, who has a career spanning more than 25 years and has won numerous international awards.
