Leading national and international musicians, ensembles and orchestras are invading Almada for a series of concerts at Convento dos Capuchos, the Teatro Municipal Joaquim Benite and the Auditório Fernando Lopes-Graça.

Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Chopin, Paganini and Schostakovich will be the highlights of the compositions.

The Paris Symphony Orchestra opens the festival, followed by the Paganini Ensemble from Vienna and the Berlin Chamber Orchestra, among great international soloists.

On the Portuguese scene, the festival features the renaissance ensemble Arte Minima, pianist Júlio Resende, conductor Martim Sousa Tavares, among many others.
