Renowned cellist Luís Bravo has toured the world with his show Forever Tango, a style of movement that in his opinion translates as ‘a feeling that can be danced’.
The show tells the story of Tango's origins.
Originating in Argentinian brothels, where immigrants from different parts of the world would gather at the end of a hard day's work, this style of dance was initially considered indecent and inappropriate.
It was in Parisian salons that this rhythm, brought by Argentine intellectuals, gained glamour and appreciation.
Now it is considered one of the most famous styles of our time and it was recognised as Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
