Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), Claude Debussy (1862-1918), Paul Dukas (1865-1935) and Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) are the four French composers honoured in this concert by the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, featuring pianist António Rosado and conducted by Antonio Pirolli.

The programme opens with Dukas’ L'Apprenti Sorcier, followed by Saint-Saëns’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in F Major for Piano and Orchestra, op. 103, Debussy’s Prélude à L’après-midi d’un faune, and Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé, Suite No 2.
