IndieLisboa takes over the Portuguese capital to showcase more than 250 films across the city’s main cinemas.

With 11 uninterrupted days of screenings, this year’s highlights are Binka Jeliaskova, the first Bulgarian woman to direct a feature film in her country, in the Retrospective section, and the films of British director Charlie Shackleton, in the Focus section.

IndieMusic once again puts music centre stage in 10 films, and joining the usual programme are the nighttime events of Indie - By Night Cinema at the Pool, the cinephile marathon of the Boca do Inferno section, IndieDate and the surprise film.
