José de Guimarães presents his graphical works in the year he celebrates his 80th birthday and 60 years as an artist.
The artist from Guimarães presents, in a number of themed rooms, more than 168 of his works on a number of topics, including the revolution of 25th April 1974 and works with African, Mexican and Far Eastern inspiration.
“Around the world: The graphics of José de Guimarães” is part of the Biblioteca Nacional’s 50th anniversary commemorations.
Until 24th November, Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 7.30pm; Saturdays, from 9.0am to 5pm, Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal, Campo Grande (buses: 31A, 50, 68, 75, 77, 85, 101, 106 | metro: Entrecampos, Cidade Universitária).
