KINO German Expression Film Festival

KINO's 19th edition promises to look at the future and the cinema from a female point of view.

In eight of the 15 movies signed by female directors, the subjects are very diversified, dealing with structural racism, the affective heritage, the reconstruction of self-confidence after a xenophobic attack or even the collective catharsis facing a traumatic episode of sexual manipulation.

This edition again includes the three already usual sections: “Visions, for the big film productions; “Perspectives”, for first and second works and “Realities”, for the documentary films.

In the end, in addition to the presentation of films, there will still also room for conversations with directors and for the revelation of the “Audience Award” with the drawing of a trip to Germany.
