Lisboa 5L - International Festival of Literature and Portuguese Language -

Lisbon proposes to celebrate Language, Literature, Books, Bookstores and Reading simultaneously!

Its initial objective is to inscribe the city in the national and international itineraries of festivals devoted to letters, their forms, their places, their audiences, their agents, their lovers, ...

The event takes advantage of Lisbon's cultural life and combines its dynamism with a series of activities organized specifically for the festival but born from a context that precedes it.

The program includes debates and author's round-tables with invitations addressed to national and foreign writers and specialists, from already recognized to newcomers. There are also concerts, cinema, performances and exhibitions that, individually, all celebrate their relationship with language and literature.
