The Lisboa Bar Show, the biggest national event in mixology, hospitality, restaurants and hotels, will take place on the 17th and 18th of May, at Sala Tejo in the Altice Arena.

The seventh edition of the event brings professionals and connoisseurs of the sector to the capital with the best bartenders in the world.

For two days, the Lisbon Bar Show will be the stage for the main national and international references in the area, which will make the news and trends known to professionals and all lovers of spirits.

This is a national initiative, with worldwide recognition, and a true platform for knowledge, sharing and networking.

This exchange of knowledge gives visibility to what is being done in Portugal, and also brings the main names and brands of the sector to our country.

In every edition of the Lisbon Bar Show there is a guest country. In 2022, France will be the honored country and Stéphane Moeslé, director of beverage innovation; businessman and bartender Remy Savage; as well as chefs Vincent Farges of the Epur restaurant, and Frederic Breitenbucher, chef of The Albatroz Hotel.

Tato Giovannoni, founder of the Florería Atlántico bar, considered the fifth best bar in the world by “The World’s 50 Best Bars”, will also be present at the Lisbon Bar Show. Jared Brown and Anistatia Miller are other prominent personalities. The couple is responsible for Mixellany Limited, a bar consulting company, and also for the publication of dozens of books related to the sector.

National guests include, among others, Tatiana Cardoso, elected Best Barmaid at the Lisbon Bar Show 2018 and 2019 and João Sancheira, from the 100 Maneiras group, who won the World Class 2021 competition in Portugal.

On May 18, there will be a toast with a giant mojito at 5 pm, to celebrate the National Cocktail Day, a date established in 2016 by Alberto Pires, organizer of the Lisbon Bar Show.
