In ‘Fora do Quadrado.Bordalo e as origens da BD em Portugal’, the visitors observe a variety of games and graphic solutions, developed by the artist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, who establishes himself as a tutelary figure for the development of comics in the country.

This exhibition revisits several works of his entire career and presents multiple connections between text and image, which continue to be surprising for their degree of experimentation and creative freedom.
