From 13 November to 21 December, Baixa-Chiado will become the epicentre of the festive season as the Rossio Christmas Market returns to Praça D. Pedro IV.

A festive experience transforming the heart of the city into a magical setting of lights, flavours and traditions, and establishing itself as a must-visit destination for shopping and family entertainment.

In this welcoming and festive atmosphere, dozens of wooden stalls will offer handicrafts, a wide variety of traditional Christmas treats and seasonal delicacies. Visitors can also discover the Hospital das Bonecas shop and its traditional Christmas Exhibition, as well as enjoy the Christmas Train, which is free of charge and 100% electric. The train will run from 3 pm to 10 pm, Sunday to Thursday, and until 11 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and the eves of public holidays.

Every Friday and Saturday, from 3 pm to 11 pm, and on Sundays until 10 pm, visitors can also enjoy a variety of festive activities and entertainment as part of a rich cultural programme.
