The Companhia Nacional de Bailado presents a show that brings together two contemporary works by two choreographers who use very different approaches: Symphony Of Sorrows, by Miguel Ramalho, and Cantata, by Mauro Bigonzetti.
In the former, the collective reveals itself to be the force that overcomes humanity’s sometimes tortuous paths.
The Cantata reflects Italian popular and musical traditions from the 18th and 19th centuries, f rom lullabies to pizzica salentina and Neapolitan serenades, in a festive atmosphere where music is the inspiring element that infects dancers and audience alike.
