The follow up to 2016’s “The Shadow Self”, it is the artist’s 7th solo album and the sound is a hybrid of sophisticated orchestrations, of choirs, her voice and an obscure and heavy musical base that is present in the songs “Dead Promises”, “Goodbye Stranger” and “Tears in Rain”.

Whether as a soloist with the Finnish National Opera, in churches, or performing before rock fans in arenas all over the world, Tarja is the first name to crop up whenever you think of a lyrical soprano singer associated with heavy metal.

Before coming to Lisboa, she made a promise: to show herself “more vulnerable and aggressive than ever”.
