Consisting of Thom Yorke and Jonny Grenwood, members of Radiohead, and of that same band's long-time producer, Nigel Godrich, joined by Tom Skinner, drummer of the British jazz band Sons of Kemet, The Smile were born during the lockdown brought about by the pandemic in 2020.

They made their debut online, in 2021, and kept discreet until the beginning of this year.

With an European tour in progress, they come to Lisboa bringing their first already released singles, "You Will Never Work In Television Again" and "The Smoke", with the promise that a powerful album is on the way.
