Ah, Amália - Living Experience

The first immersive biographical story dedicated to a national personality.  
A journey of emotions hand in hand with one of the most inspiring women of all time. A dynamic and everlasting experience that will remain in the memory, beyond the boundaries of time and space.

An experience that only makes sense to us: sensorial, alive. One that crosses all the senses and emotions - the sound, the visual, the virtual, the immersive and the unexpected. 

Over 700m2, in the city's new cultural centre in Marvila, we invite visitors, guided by the fado singer's voice, to embark on a unique journey through the artist's material and immaterial estate, scenographic installations, cutting-edge technology, dynamic and interactive content, combined with a storytelling that combines the physical with the digital. 

In the eight rooms of this exhibition, we combine different thematic environments, where you can get to know Amália in her various dimensions - artistic, social, personal and international. 
 

What you'll find
Virtual Reality
Crossing a high-impact scenic installation with a virtual reality experience, the physical and digital dimensions come together to provide a unique experience in which you can live the Amália of yesterday, today and forever. 

360º Room
In this room we get to know Amália through an immersive 360º experience, using multimedia and videomapping, allowing the viewer to feel part of this "Strange Way of Life". 

Hologram 
With a full-scale hologram and scenography that replicates the Olympia stage in Paris, the public will have the unique opportunity to witness a performance by the fado singer. 

Ah, Amália - Living Experience brings together SP Entertainment and the Amália Rodrigues Foundation for the voice of a culture.  This exhibition would not be possible without the inexhaustible support of the Amália Rodrigues Foundation, whose mission is to promote and publicise Amália's contribution to the affirmation of national identity.
