A Laugh to Cry by Miguel Azguime and Paula Azguime is conceived as an initiatory journey – a journey through the night of darkness to reach the light, in this case the light of dawn, through the dreams of those who dare to dream.
To go through the night is to point the finger at the destruction we are causing, which manifests itself in our own eventual extinction.
And in the desperation of not finding a solution, will humanity’s suicide be its only response?
A Laugh to Cry assures us that creation holds the possibility of renewal – and that the power of art lies in the refusal to remain silent.

A Laugh to Cry is visceral, intimate and deeply human. It invites us to listen and experience not only the words, sounds or images, but what lies within them:
The breath.
The fracture.
The laughter that hides the sob.
The sob that hides the scream.
The scream that echoes what cannot be denied.
