Lisbon will host Bike Bus Summit on 29 and 30 April 2026 — the leading international gathering on active school travel.

Over two days, researchers, policymakers, educators and advocates from around the world will come together in Lisbon to share experiences, discuss public policy and present innovative solutions for safer, greener and more active school journeys.

The programme includes keynote sessions, workshops and live bike bus demonstrations in a real urban setting.

An event that places Lisbon at the heart of the global conversation about human cities and independent and happy children.
