Dorindo Carvalho, 1963-2023, 60 anos a desenhar e pintar

From the 22nd of January, the Centro Cultural de Cascais presents “Dorindo Carvalho, 1963-2023, 60 Years of Drawing and Painting”, an exhibition dedicated to the work of the Portuguese painter and graphic designer Dorindo Carvalho (Lisbon, 1937). Curated by the artist himself, the show brings together 68 works, including drawings, paintings and small sculptures, and marks the sixtieth year of his intense and important artistic creation. Patent until April 2, 2023.

Dorindo Carvalho's pictorial work crosses several artistic currents and, due to its longevity, several generations of creators who, due to their vision, talent and influence, formed the panorama of Portuguese contemporary art in the second half of the 20th century and the first decades of the 21st century.

This exhibition at the Centro Cultural de Cascais revisits six decades of artistic creation to pay homage to the artist from Lisbon who, with his own aesthetic criteria fueled by a fruitful creativity, was always at the forefront.
