EDP Pela Vida (Solidarity Run)
EDP Pela Vida (for Life) is the new name of the ‘EDP Lisboa, a Mulher e a Vida’ charity race.
The 18th edition of the 5K charity race, organised by the Maratona Clube de Portugal in cooperation with Lisbon City Council, will take place on 12 May 2024.
It will have a new name, but with the same objective: to raise funds for the Portuguese League Against Cancer.
The 17 previous editions have raised more than €950,000 to buy breast cancer screening equipment. Since the first edition, champion Rosa Mota has been the godmother of the race and is always present at the start.

The starting gun will be fired by the Mayor of Lisbon, Dr Carlos Moedas, and RTP1 will broadcast the event live to millions of viewers from 10.30am.
