MÚSICA VIVA FESTIVAL 2023
CELEBRATING NEW MUSIC
Accompanying The Spring, the Música Viva 2023 Festival will take place between the 5th and the 13th of May at O’culto da Ajuda in Lisbon, to show the vitality of contemporary musical creation.

9 concerts, 2 operas, 40 works, 12 absolute premieres. The Música Viva Festival, organized by Miso Music Portugal since 1992, presents us its 29th edition.

About to turn thirty years old, the Música Viva Festival gives voice to contemporary musical creation, always with Portuguese performers and composers in the spotlight, affirming the vitality of current musical creation.

During these days, O'culto da Ajuda, one of the most precious and irreverent concert halls in Lisbon, will bring together Portuguese and foreign musicians, whether at the beginning of their careers or fully established, for a diverse and expressive show of the music of our time, with an important number of new works in absolute premiere.
