The paths of pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva and the Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos crossed in 2011.

First in concerts, then on an album. Bela Senão Sem, an album released in 2013 and considered one of the best jazz albums of that year, was reissued in 2020 with new arrangements and three new compositions, and is now being presented at Festas na Rua.
