The French ensemble Ensemble Orbis presents in Lisbon the project “The Song of Seeds”, dedicated to contemporary musical creation and the support of young composers.
The programme includes two concerts at ESML – Lisbon School of Music, on 11 July at 18:00 and 12 July at 17:00.
These concerts will feature world premieres of works by Jeovan Barbosa, Bruna Santander, Nuno D’Eça and Aarón Esteve Gandía, young composition students.
The pieces were developed under the guidance of Jaime Reis and will be performed by Ensemble Orbis, an internationally renowned ensemble.
In addition to these premieres, the programme also includes new works by Portuguese composers Jaime Reis and Mariana Vieira, also presented in absolute premiere.
The project promotes direct contact between young creators and professional musicians, encouraging the creation and international circulation of new musical repertoires.
