A painter and gallery owner, since the beginning of his artistic career, Pepe Barragán (Seville, 1956) has shown his predilection for geometric abstraction as a mode of expression, in contrast to the pictorial representation of figures or landscapes.

The 35 works that make up the exhibition Ritmo e Variações, made in oil on canvas or on paper in different formats, demonstrate the artist's skill in the careful creation of his compositions and the balance between the lines and plans that refer to a musical composition in a sheet music.
