The Museum of Lisbon – Saint Anthony celebrates the Christmas period with a presentation of 18th-century gowns made to adorn the image of the Baby Jesus in the Church of Saint Anthony.
Embroidered by hand and highly detailed, these gowns are part of an ancient tradition and reveal all the tenderness and affection that Saint Anthony felt for children and for the Baby Jesus, making them inseparable from his story.
