Vienna Mozart Orchestra

This Christmas, the renowned Viennese orchestra performs in Portugal in a concert dedicated to the composer Mozart.

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra with its 30 musicians was founded in 1986 and since then the orchestra has established its permanent place in Viennese concert life.

 It became a special brand and highlight in Vienna's musical programs and one of major attractions among Vienna’s guests and music lovers. Vienna Mozart Orchestra gives over 160 concerts in Vienna each year at the most beautiful concert venues – Golden Hall of the Musikverein, the Brahms Hall and the Vienna State Opera, - biggest and most famous concert halls not only in Vienna but in all Europe.

Beyond its regular concert programs in its home city, Vienna Mozart Orchestra has developed intensive tour activities all around the globe.

The orchestra has visited Japan several times and had the honor of opening the 1991 Mozart Year in Tokyo. It also represented Austria at the festival International Cervantino in Mexico in 2002.

The orchestra has performed in Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Morocco, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Brazil, Panama, Guatemala, Mexico, Canada, USA.

This Christmas, the prestigious orchestra performs in Portugal, on December 17th, at Altice Arena.
