The "World Bike Tour Lisboa/Oeiras - 2023" is a family event that promotes health, well-being, mobility and sustainability.

This year, the event takes place on July 9 and once again connects Lisbon to Oeiras through a car-free riverside route and is broadcasted on RTP1 during the morning and afternoon.

The "WBT-Lisbon/Oeiras" returns with new and better models. At the end the participants will take home their bicycle and the complete kit: helmet, backpack, fanny pack, t-shirt and bidon, as well as other gifts from the sponsors.

In a country where more than half of the Portuguese are obese or overweight, the WBT promotes healthy habits for adults and children. The WHO (World Health Organization) recommends bicycle use and we promote soft mobility in the cities of Lisbon and Oeiras.

Sustainability is one of the main lines of action of the WBT because we want to leave a better world for the next generations. Therefore, together with our partners we have removed single-use plastic; we promote products that are recyclable and have less impact on the environment.

Inclusion is one of our major concerns. And because the disabled also have the right to practice sport and to their mobility, we donate adapted bicycles and offer registration to those who have their own means to participate.

This year's World Bike Tour - Lisbon/Oeiras will have more than 3 thousand people in a fun and non-competitive ride that starts at Praça do Comércio in Lisbon and ends at Praia da Torre in Oeiras (19 km long).
