The Brazilian singer, winner of a Latin Grammy in the Best Samba Album category, has 30 studio albums and nine live albums, she has sold eight million copies of her records worldwide and won several awards, including the Diplome de Médaille D’or from the Societé Acadêmique de Arts, Sciences et Lettres de Paris, Black Personality of the Arts, awarded by the International Council of Women and The Voice of America, awarded by the UN.
