Two very simple choreographies are taught: live and without previous rehearsal - to a group of people, dance lovers, with or without experience. The result? A collective dance experience, shared between friends and strangers, full of opportunities for socialising.

Bal Moderne is an original concept by Michel Reilhac who in 1993 created a contemporary dance project in which all dance lovers could participate. Several names in contemporary dance have been contributing with choreographic scores that comply with only two conditions: having a duration of 3 minutes and being easy to learn.

Bal Moderne's collection of sheet music keeps growing, as well as its followers.
