Carlos "Zingaro" is a violinist, improviser, instrumentalist and composer and now he presents himself in a double format: a film concert dedicated  to his career.

The concert  takes place at 6 pm in the central lobby of Caixa Geral de Depósitos and precedes the premiere of the film about the Portuguese artist's personality – "A Escuta", by Inês Oliveira, which will be shown at 8 pm in the auditorium of Culturgest.

Carlos "Zingaro" was the founder of the band Plexus, which, still in the 1960s, joined rock, free jazz and contemporary music.

In the decade of 1970, he became an unavoidable figure in European free jazz.
