Definitely the Bahamas is a play by the English playwright Martin Crimp, written in 1986, for three actors from two distinct generations: the elderly couple played by Custódia Gallego and Marques d’Arede, and the Galician student Cristina Gayoso Rey.
A retired couple, Tita and Gui, married for decades, speak to us from the living room of their home. They rent a room to a young student who, from time to time, crosses the scene to do little more than answer the telephone — yet whose presence calls into question all the normality they try to construct in their account of daily life.
